American Councils for International Education is seeking a Curriculum Specialist for the Chinese Overseas Flagship Center in China, the goal of which is to promote U.S. students’ acquisition of Chinese to ACTFL Superior/ILR Level 3 or higher. The Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for the design and quality of Chinese language courses in the overseas program. The position requires experience teaching American students of Chinese at advanced levels, knowledge of Chinese as a Foreign Language pedagogy, and ability to navigate U.S. and Chinese academic culture. The Curriculum Specialist reports to the Chinese Overseas Flagship Program Manager, in consultation with the Senior Academic Consultant.
This is a regular full-time position reporting to Linda Larsen, Program Manager.
