Sung Yun Wing

Sung Yun Wing graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1970 and earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Minnesota in 1979. Currently he is a professor in economics and focuses on economic integration of the Chinese economic area as well as trade and investment of Chinese economy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he also works as associate director at Hong Kong Institute of Asian-Pacific Studies. With expertise in international trade and economic development, he served as Chairman of Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation during 2007 – 2012 and serves on the China Trade Committee of Hong Kong Trade Development Council since 2009.
